The already highly regarded "as1" controller sets a standard on the market for reliability in highly complex automation controls. Existing software - The existing UI has a very high information density, which has a negative impact on the learnability of the system. In addition, several other usability-related problems were identified that can be avoided with a new concept.
User Research - Extensive user research in Switzerland, Germany and Austria
Development - Focus on reducing information density and creating dynamic information hierarchies
Showcase Video - I was given the opportunity to create a project preview for the BAUMA 2016 trade fair in Munich. In an informative trailer, the existing partial concepts were animated using After Effects and shown as a teaser at the trade fair.
